You do not have to be a photographer but choosing a clear one from your camera roll will help your artist tremendously. If you would like to add your pet's name to the portraits leave their name in the note section and we'll add it.

Photos taken in natural lighting work best as they allow our artists to see the true color of your beloved pet. The photo needs to clearly show your pet's face in a pose that captures your pet's personality.

Getting Perfect Dog Portraits

If your dog is always sitting with its tongue out, upload a photo with their tongue out! If the shot is a close-up with some features missing, please include a second photo that shows your pet's whole face. Feel free to pick a certain feature or characteristic of your pet to highlight - whatever best represents them and let our team know in the notes section.

Our artists will need to see detail in order to create a beautiful portrait of your beloved pet. You can upload as many photos as necessary for them to draw your pet. We don't recommend photos in which your pet is moving or shots in which the face is not clear.

Our artists are experts at creating beautiful portraits. You have a choice between three frame options, black, white or poster only. We can also do a canvas print.
